Collaborative research involves many different partners from different segments of the industry including fishermen, scientists, managers, and project coordinators. Some may be directly involved on the water collecting samples, and others may be indirectly involved, receiving and analyzing data, creating reports and publications. All have different questions and objectives, but all have a similar vested interest. Much like a band, each piece plays its own critical role, and when played well together, they create a harmony that results in an effective platform. Join MCCF’s Collaborative Research Specialist, Pat Shepard, for a one-hour presentation as we explore the different players in collaborative research and the roles they play.
