The Deer Isle Artists Association celebrates the creation of art with their second show of the season, “Hand and Eye,” which runs from June 13 – 26.   Appearing in this show will be artists Melissa Buxton, Alan Flowers, Jo Hewitt, Leslie Landrigan, Alice McKenna, David McBeth, Richard Newman, Rochelle Newman, Robert Starkey, Marc Swartzbaugh, and Hub White. The Art Rack will feature work by Ben Appleby-Maguire, Sue Bolton, Betsy Braunhut, Adell Donaghue, and Katama Murray. The public is invited to a reception with the artists on June 16, from 3 – 5 PM.

Continuing to run in the Gallery until June 11 is “Simple Pleasures.”  From June 27 – July 9 the third show of the summer will be “Portraits.”
