THE GREAT DOWNEASTER EGG HUNT RETURNS TO STONINGTON

Celebrate the arrival of spring with a host of family-friendly activities.

On Saturday, March 31 at 2pm, the event will kick off at the Island Community Center with an Easter Egg Basket decorating craft session. Participants will also be able to play Easter Egg (Cupcake) Bingo with Island Adult and Community Education.

At 2:45pm, the Stonington Public Library hosts an Easter story-telling event, while across the street, Penobscot Bay Press hosts coloring and crafts.  Then at 3pm, kiddies can head over to Camden Bank to get their pictures taken with the Easter Bunny, before parading through downtown Stonington and collecting presents and goodies from local businesses.

At 3:30pm at the Stonington Opera House, the event concludes with the Great DownEaster Egg Hunt, which will take place all through the Opera House building!
