The Chamber’s website offers unparalleled visibility for your business to people – both visitors and residents – looking for information about the Island.

The Chamber actively promotes its members, helping businesses reach a wider audience within the community. Whether you’re announcing an event, special offering, or milestone, the Chamber helps amplify your message. Opportunities for cross-promotion include the Chamber’s events calendar, email marketing campaigns, and social media channels (Facebook and Instagram). Members also gain access to multiple Chamber kiosks across the Island for flyers and brochures.  

The Deer Isle-Stonington Chamber of Commerce engages in regional marketing partnerships with the Maine Tourism Association and Downeast Acadia Regional Tourism.

Your business may also be featured in the Welcome Center, where visitors regularly stop for recommendations, information, and guidance as they explore the area.

Conveniently located just over the bridge, the Welcome Center serves as a first stop for many visitors arriving on the Island. Chamber volunteers spend hundreds of hours each Summer and Fall helping travelers discover where to eat, shop, stay, and explore — making them some of the strongest ambassadors for local businesses.
