The Deer Isle Artists Association is pleased to announce the March Artist-in-Residence Program on March 4 with artist David McBeth. David is a potter, working primarily with porcelain that is high-fired and ready for the dining table.
The Blue Hill Concert Association is pleased to present a concert of the Fauré Quartett. The piano quartet will perform a concert by Romantic greats Gustav Mahler, Gabriel Fauré, and Johannes Brahms. The quartet includes violinist Erika Geldsetzer, violist Sascha Frömbling, cellist Konstantin Heidrich, and pianist Dirk Mommertz.
A closing reception for March Artist-in-Residence David McBeth will be held on Saturday, March 29 from 3-5pm. There will be a brief artist’s talk at 4pm.
