The Deer Isle Artists Association is pleased to announce the April Artist-in-Residence program with painter Robert Starkey. Robert is a painter inspired by nature.

The Great Down-Easter Egg Celebration, a community-wide event.

An Artist Reception will be held on Sunday, April 27, 4-6pm. There will be an artist talk at 5:00 pm.

The Festival offers a mix of activities surrounding birding, boating, nature, history, and creativity. The popular boat trip to Seal Island offers sightings of Atlantic Puffins, Razorbills, Northern Gannets, and others.

A screening of the film, Fly Away Home, will be offered at the Stonington Opera House.
