“A Sense of Awe,” featuring the work of artists from around the peninsula, begins on August 4 and runs through August 17 at the Deer Isle Artists Association Gallery in Deer Isle Village. Paintings, fiber, sculpture, jewelry, photographs, pottery… all will be on display to fill the viewer with a sense of awe!
The Gallery will present pieces by Betsy Braunhut, Janet Cook, Avery Faulkner, Jill Finsen, Dorothy Flanagan, Alan Flowers, Francoise Gervais, Cathy Hart, David Kofton, Alice McKenna, David Simonds, Walter Smalling, Paul Trowbridge, and Anne C. Williams. Appearing in the Art Rack will be work by Betsy Braunhut, Jacqueline Davidson, Glenn Felch, Judith Felch, and Leslie Miller Landrigan.
A reception with the artists will take place on Sunday, August 6, from 4:00 – 6:00.
