Every year, Education Associate Joshua McCarey chooses a story from around the world to bring to the Opera House stage through OHA’s education program. YOUNG HORIZON PLAYERS present IRIS RUKKA, an adaptation of a beloved Finnish tale with original music & movement. An ensemble of ten young actors, ages 6-12, from Deer Isle and the Blue Hill Peninsula, have engaged in theatrical storytelling to bring this classic tale to life. Adapted & Directed by Kate Russell from the book by Anni Swan.
Join OHA in support of our youngest performers as they take to the stage! PLEASE NOTE: Audience members are encouraged to wear green to the performance. See you there!
