While the title may be “Small Works,” the beauty of each piece is large in the latest show at the Deer Isle Artists Association Gallery. From August 25 – September 6, “Small Works” will fill the windows of the DIAA with objects that can be conveniently packed, both for yourself or for others! Baskets, ceramics, forged items, jewelry, paintings, photography, sculpture, weaving, and wearable art will abound. Visitors may observe the art through the windows while social distancing. In addition, the gallery will be staffed from 10:00 until 2:00 daily. During those hours, pieces can be brought to the door for close inspection. Please remember to wear a mask.

The DIAA Gallery is located at 15 Main Street in Deer Isle Village. When the gallery is not open, work can be purchased by calling 207 348-2330 or at diaaartexhibit@gmail.com.
Curbside pickup can then be arranged.
