Stonington Farmers Market

July 19, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

FARMERS & ARTISTS & FISHERMEN & BAKERS & CRAFTSPEOPLE

The Farmers Market is located at the Island Community Center in Stonington, Maine. Our 2-hour market takes place mid-May through mid-October on Fridays from 10AM-12PM, rain or shine. We are a dog friendly destination but request that you keep your dogs leashed at all times.

Shoppers will be surprised to find not only abundant fresh native produce, meat products, local seafood, cheeses, specialty foods and bakery goods but also a variety of fine artists, craftspeople, and community organizations represented in a lively mix of more than 50 vendors. There is always something new to discover at the Farmers Market.

Most of our farmers and vendors operate on a cash basis and will accept a personal check. A few accept credit cards but since cellular phone service is unreliable on the island, cash and checks are almost always preferred. Please be aware that there are ATM’s available a mile away at the Burnt Cove Market at the intersection of route 15A (also known as Sunset/Burnt Cove Rd) and at the Camden National Bank in downtown Stonington on route 15/Main Street.

Please park inside the ball field directly across from the Island Community Center building in designated parking areas only. Do not park on the street! You may leave your passengers off before parking in the ball field. Be aware that within the parking lot where the farmers market is held there are designated parking spaces reserved for ICC tenants and are not for Stonington Farmers Market use. Please do not park in the neighboring driveways or parking lots belonging to other businesses.
