“Strawberry Fields”
The Deer Isle Artists Association is happy to announce that its second show of the season will begin on Tuesday, June 15.
Exhibited in the DIAA Gallery in Deer Isle Village are works by artists from around the peninsula relating to the show’s theme, “Strawberry Fields.” Appearing in this show are Leslie Anderson, Elle Duncombe-Mills, Cynthia Bourque Simonds, Judith Felch, Alan Flowers, David McBeth, Alice McKenna, Carol Patch, Carolyn Raedle, Teri Rippeto, Jeanne Rotunda, Oscar Turner, and Patricia White.
Open Tuesdays through Sundays, the DIAA Gallery welcomes visitors from 10:00 – 2:00. These “Strawberry Fields” won’t last forever; rather the show runs only from June 15 – June 27. Currently on exhibit through Sunday, June 12, is “Joyful Measures,” and beginning on June 29, the DIAA Gallery will present “All Photography.”
All CDC\Maine government protocols will be maintained throughout the summer. Visitors will be required to wear face masks, and hand sanitizer will be available for those entering the gallery. Masks may be purchased in the Gallery.
Window exhibits can be viewed 24-hours a day, seven days a week; the Gallery will be open June – October from 10:00 – 2:00 each day.
