Our work is made possible through the generosity of donors, sponsors, and volunteers and their shared commitment to the Island.

Your financial contribution helps the Chamber promote the interests and vitality of the Deer Isle–Stonington business community while supporting events, visitor services, and initiatives that encourage a thriving local economy.
Every donation, large or small, directly supports the Chamber’s efforts to connect individuals with local businesses and showcase the unique character of the Island.
Become a Sponsor
In 1997, the Deer Isle–Stonington Chamber of Commerce created a way for individuals without a business membership to support the Chamber’s mission. Community members are invited to become Chamber Sponsors for an annual contribution of $75.
Sponsor support helps the Chamber promote local businesses, welcome visitors, and encourage sustainable economic opportunities that benefit the entire Island community.
Sign Up to Volunteer
The Chamber is fortunate to have dedicated volunteers who generously share their time and knowledge with visitors and community members alike. Volunteers play a vital role in operating the Chamber’s Welcome Center, which welcomes thousands of visitors each year from May through October.
Additional opportunities include assisting with events and distributing promotional materials across the community.
